Typical wedding flow: we arrive during ceremony, set up in a designated room or sectioned-off area, leave it running through cocktail hour and into the reception, and break down toward the end of the night.
What guests get out of it
Older guests light up. Most of them have played golf at some point and immediately want a turn. Younger guests have something to do between dinner and dancing. Kids at the wedding get to hit balls, which solves another problem.
Photographers like it too. It is a built-in candid generator. People reacting and laughing rather than posing.
